For the past decade, YBMKQ has stood as a safe haven where young people can heal, dream, and discover their purpose. Our 10th Anniversary weekend is more than a celebration; it is a testament to the power of resilience and community. Through our Youth Healing Event, we walk with youth on their journey of turning pain into purpose. Our Gospel Explosion Concert lifts spirits and unites families in hope and joy. The weekend culminates with the 25 Under 25 Award Gala, honoring the brilliance of young leaders who are changing their communities today. Together, these experiences reflect the heart of YBMKQ: creating spaces where healing meets empowerment and the next generation rises to lead.
 

This year’s theme, “A Decade of Healing: Inspiring Dreams & Igniting Purpose,” was chosen because it embodies the very essence of what YBMKQ has been building toward over the last ten years. Healing is the foundation of our work, addressing trauma, inequities, and hardships so that young people can step into their full selves. Inspiring dreams reflects our belief that every young person deserves the freedom and encouragement to imagine a future filled with possibility. Igniting purpose represents our commitment to guiding youth as they transform those dreams into action, leadership, and impact. It is not just a theme for a celebration, but a declaration of how YBMKQ will continue to shape lives for the next decade and beyond.
