Young Black Motivated Kings and Queens provides youth and families in the Greater Allegheny County area with a safe space where youth can be creative and expressive as they navigate their role in their community and the world. YBMKQ’s array of programming is responsive to participating youths’ needs, equipping them with the knowledge, attention, and healing necessary to excel. We are passionate about reversing the impact of disinvestment on our youth. Our programs, team, and dedicated Community Center provide youth and our community with the tools and space to lead equitable lives in Pittsburgh and beyond.

A Penn Hills Senior High School and Clark Atlanta University graduate with a degree in Business Administration with Dual-Concentration in Marketing & Management and Political Science created an organization to reach out to young African American men in the city of Pittsburgh who believed in being active in their communities.
